Shipping policy -The Light Library

Our goal is to offer the best shipping options, PAN India, ensuring that we provide the very highest level of responsiveness to you at all times.

 

Do I have to pay for shipping?

We offer free shipping across India for orders above ₹3,000. For cash on delivery orders (postpaid orders), a nominal handling fee of ₹199 will be added during checkout. You will not be charged any handling fee for prepaid orders (online order payments).

How long will it take for my order to reach me?

All orders are shipped within 1-2 working days of placing the order, and it typically takes another 3 to 10 working days for the order to reach you based on your location. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email notification with the courier and tracking details so that you can track your order online. 

The user will also be provided with an approximate date of delivery with the tracking details. The approximate date of delivery is merely an approximation by the carrier. We shall not be liable for delay in delivery by third party Logistic Partners. 

Will all the items in my order be shipped in the same package?

Not necessarily. A single order may be shipped as multiple packages to ensure that your product(s) arrive safely and securely. 

What if I receive a damaged or incorrect product?

We are committed to ensuring that your products reach you safely and securely. However, in the rare event that you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please raise a Replacement or Exchange Request within 24 hours of receipt of the order, by sending us an email at help@thelightlibrary.in with attaching photos & videos and we will set things right. Please mention your Order ID when you reach out to us. In rare cases, when the Replacement is not possible from our end, we will offer a Return to the customer with a Full Refund. Please note, for any exchange or return request, the product needs to have the original packing intact. We will not accept the request if any of the packing material is missing or is used.

Once the return is approved, then your refund/exchange will be processed.

What about the refundable amount?

A credit will automatically be applied to your original payment method within 2-3 working days after the item has been returned and inspected.
